Configure connection details for information flows
Various kinds of information can be captured for information flows including the connection data format, connection frequency, connection method, and connection type. You can specify connection details that users can select when capturing information flows. For example, a user could specify that the connection frequency of an information flow is Monthly and the connection data format is ASCII. Preconfigured values are available for all connection details but you can add other values for users to select that are relevant to your company's information flows.

connection method

A connection type describes the mode of transfer used by a specific information flow when transmitting business data between two associated applications or their respective components. Examples include batch and online.
