Administrate events

Configuration and administration task include scheduling or immediate triggering of long-running processes:

• Processes for maintenance of Alfabet FastLane are predefined by Software AG. They are run dayly between midnight and 3 am. Currently, the following functionality relys on maintenance processes:
  • Some of the indicators are computed based on current data in the database. These indicators are updated dayly to reflect changes ot the underlying data.
  • Coloring of objects in diagrams depend on complex rules that are regularly computed.
  • Sending of emails as a reminder for object changes.
• Initial import of data via data capture templates includes asnchronous processes for export of data capture templates and import of data.
