Which Types of Documents do I Find in the Knowledge Center?

In the Knowledge Center, you can search for the following document types:

  • Corrections/Fixes
Corrections/fixes are provided in downloadable format. Some of them (for example, Zaps) can also be displayed online.

The following types of corrections/fixes are available:

    • Service Packs
Service packs are cumulative fixes, which means the current correction encloses all previous corrections (that is: summary IUPDs for Natural and Natural-based products).

      Note:
      IUPD stands for "initial update".

    • All Zaps
Zaps contain all available Zaps for a specific product version/release/system maintenance level combined in a single data set, allowing for an easy download in one single step.

    • SMA Tables
An SMA table is a fix to make a correction known to your SMA tables.

  • Early Warnings
Early warnings contain corrections to errors which may cause loss of data integrity, or invalid results without an error message being issued.

  • Technical Papers
Technical papers are comprehensive product-related descriptions of specific technical issues, for example, migrations to a higher product version.

  • KB Articles
Resolutions to problems encountered by other users. These include Technical Tips and Technical Articles from our former support sites.
