This section provides an overview of new features for Data Archiving for Adabas Version 1.8.1.
Data Archiving for Adabas now supports retention periods. Configure your Action(s) with the required retention period, turn on Vault retention period processing, and Data Archiving for Adabas will automatically delete your archived data as soon as any defined retention period expires. In addition, previously created Archives may also be modified to implement retention periods.

Data Archiving for Adabas supports the Adabas Security feature that is now available in Adabas for Linux, UNIX and Windows platforms.
