After you have identified the API for virtualizing, ensure that the metadata for the native API is valid and up-to-date. If the metadata for the native API has not been completely specified or is out-of-date, you should update it before you generate the virtual API so that you do not carry inaccurate/incomplete data into the virtual API.

Ensure that the webMethods Mediator is configured and running on the same machine webMethods Integration Server.
