A state can only be deleted if there is currently no policy that is triggered when this state is entered.
To delete a state from a model
Display a list of available lifecycle models. If you need procedures for this step, see Viewing the List of Lifecycle Models.
Locate the required lifecycle model from the list and open its detail view.
In the detail view, select the States tab if it is not already selected.
Mark the checkbox of the state you wish to delete.
Click .
In the other states of the model, remove all transitions to the deleted state.
Save your changes.
