Versioning of an OData Service
Use the following procedure to create a new version of the existing OData service.
To create a new version for an existing OData service
1. Display the details page for the OData service you want to generate a new version. If you need procedures for this step, see Viewing or Modifying Details of an OData Service.
2. In the actions bar of the OData service, click Version.
This opens the Add a New Version dialog.
3. Enter the appropriate information for each of the displayed data fields.

Do the following...
Version
Optional. Enter a version identifier for the OData service. The version identifier is an optional attribute that you can increment when an OData service is modified to indicate that the service has been updated. It can contain alphanumeric characters and special characters.
If no value is specified, a system generated number is displayed.
Organization
Select the organization in which the versioned OData service will be created. (The drop-down list displays the list of organizations in which you are permitted to create assets.)
Change Log
Optional. Enter a comment for the versioned OData service inorder to keep track of the modifications made (if any).
4. Click Version.
A new version of the OData service is created in CentraSite with the version details specified. A copy of the current OData service which consists of all the details, resources, and specifications is created and linked to the previous version of the service.
