Creating a JSF Facelets Application Project
A portlet or web application project with JSF Facelets support is created like any other CAF application project. For more information, see:

When you add a page to the project, it is added as either a .view file or a .xhtml file, depending on the setting for the UI Development preference Prefer JSF 2.x xhtml Facelet Templates for New Pages.
