Creating User-Defined Import Mapping
Importing Administered Items with User-Defined Mappings and Attributes
In OneData, in addition to predefined mappings, you can define custom mappings for imported administered items. The following table indicates the fields to specify in IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM.
Attribute
Definition
Additional Comments

Automatic sequence generated.
No entry required.
Parameter Acronym
Unique Acronym for the mapping attribute being created.
Informational only. Not used internally for new attributes. Has to be unique.
Parameter Name

Table Name
Name of the table where the entries in the file corresponding to this mapping are stored.
Column Name
Name of the column where the entries in the file corresponding to this mapping are stored.
Import Type
Type of import. Restricted to 4, 5, 6.
*4: Administered Item import
*5: Permissible Value import
*6: Classification scheme Item import
Parameter Type
Type of Parameter (O, R)
For new entries, always O.
Related Table Name
Table name that the decode value has to be referenced.
Required only if name has to be decoded to a value.
Related Column Name
Column name from Related Table where the ID is stored
Required only if name has to be decoded to a value.
Related Table Decode Column
Column Name from Related Table where the description is stored.

The IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM_FLTR entity is used to add new attributes that are common at the Administered Item level and assign them to a particular subtype of Administered Item. When you import administered items, every line of the import may result in multiple rows added to the administered items entity, one for each type of administered item. For example, if you want to associate a mapping with only one type of Administered Item, you may need additional mapping filter information in IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM_FLTR.
For example, if there is a mapping in the file for ADMIN_NOTES and it maps only to the Data Element Administered Item Type, after inserting the appropriate record in the IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM object, a record is created in the IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM_FLTR object. This indicates that this mapping is relevant only for Data Element Admin Type.
The relevant fields for specifying the user-defined mapping filter information in IMPORT_MAPPING_PARAM_FLTR are:
