Changing the Matching Threshold

Changing the Matching Threshold
Changing the Matching Criteria
For matching confidence, there are two thresholds for automatic matching, as illustrated in the following diagram.
If the highest confidence factor returned by the matching engine is below the “Low range threshold,” then in the Core MetaMap model, a new atomic element is proposed. In ISO 11179 MDR, this threshold is not used.
If the highest confidence factor returned by the matching engine is above the “High range threshold,” then the system column is automatically mapped to the data element or atomic element with the highest confidence factor.
Thresholds are attributes of the calling iHook in OneData.
To change the thresholds, see Changing the Matching Threshold.
