Running the Manual Match Process
The matching process must be executed from the system, table or column view. Enter filter criteria to run only a subset of columns through the match process. Manual matches can be executed one row at a time.
To run a manual match process
1. Select a single column and click Manual Match.
2. To view the confidence factors returned from the matching engine, click Manual Match (CF).
3. Once a manual match is made, similar columns can be set to the corresponding data or atomic element using Update Bulk.
4. Click Propose a new Data Element or Propose a new Atomic Element or select one of the proposed matches as the final match. Depending on the configuration, proposing a new data element or atomic element triggers the workflow approval process.
