Matching Engine Mappings Configuration
Before you run the auto-match process, you must define how the matching is done in the server by configuring the matching engine mappings.
To map the matching engine
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Data Quality > Metamap > Netrics > Mapping.
2. Click Add New Mapping.
3. In Source Entity, select SYSTEM/TABLE/COLUMN VIEW and in Destination Entity, select VIEW DATA ELEMENT (FOR MATCHING). Click List columns.
4. Create mappings as follows and click Save.
For COLUMN NM, in
Destination Column, select DE ITEM NM. In
Weight set the value as 50.
For TABLE NM, in
Destination Column, select DEC ITEM NM. In
Weight, set the value as 50.
5. In Threshold MatchScore, set the value as 1.0
