Specifying Information to Log
All operations log errors in the OPERATION_LOG table (see Viewing Purge Operation Events). If you want to log additional information about an operation, such as the time an operation step began or the current status of the operation, set the DEBUG_FL parameter in the OPERATION_MGR table to Y. The additional logged information is also stored in the OPERATION_LOG table.
The OPERATION_MGR table contains rows for major database operations, such as purge.
