Creating Folders and Files
You can create new Supporting Documents and Resources in the CentraSite repository from the CentraSite Eclipse GUI. New folders are created directly in the repository. Creating a new file means uploading an existing file from the file system to the repository.
*To create a new folder
1. In the Repository Explorer View or Documents View, navigate to the folder under which you want to create the new folder.
2. Select New > Folder from the folder's context menu.
3. In the New Folder dialog, specify the name for the new folder.
4. Click OK to create the folder.
*To create a new file
1. In the Repository Explorer or Documents view, navigate to the folder under which you want to create the new file.
2. Select New > File from the folder's context menu.
3. In the New File dialog, specify the path and name of the file you want to upload to the repository, or use the Browse button to select the file in the file system of your computer.
4. Click OK to upload the file to the CentraSite repository.
Depending on the editor settings you have defined in the Changing Preference Settings of the Workbench, you can double-click or single-click a new folder or a new file in the Repository Explorer or Documents view to display its details in the Details Editor.
