Configuring Integration Server Connections
Using the Connection Manager, configure Integration Server connections to link OneData to a database.
To configure database connections
1. On the Menu toolbar, select Administer > System > Connection Manager.
2. Do one of the following:
Click
Add Connection to add a new connection.
Click the
Edit icon to edit an existing connection.
3. Configure the connection details, using the following table as a guide:
Property | Description |
Connection Name | Mandatory. Unique connection name of 100 characters or less. The name can include spaces. |
Description | Description of the connection. Optional. |
Connection Type | Mandatory. The type of connection. Select Integration Server. |
4. Configure the connection parameters, using the following table as a guide:
Property | Description |
Server | The server on which Integration Server is running. |
Port | The port on which Integration Server is running. |
User Name | Mandatory. User name used to connect to Integration Server. |
Password | Mandatory. Password of User Name. |
Use SSL | Indicates whether the connection is secure. |
5. Click Save to save the new connection. Click Test Connection to verify the connection details.
Note: OneData automatically tests the connection once saved. You can also test the connection from the main Connection Manager screen.
