Logging on to the Online CONNX Suite
To log on to the
Online CONNX Suite remotely, you must
set up an SSL certificate on the machine from which you want to connect to the server.
Log on with a valid Windows user that is part of your Windows domain. The first user that logs in will be set as the administrator user. The administrator user can assign roles and grant access to other users in the domain. See
Managing Users for more information.
To log on to the
Online CONNX Suite:
1. In Chrome or Firefox, go to the following URL:
https://<CONNX REST server name>:<port>
To access the client from the Windows Start menu, go to Start > CONNX Driver > CONNX Data Dictionary or CONNX Data Dictionary (64 bit).
2. Enter a valid Windows User ID and password.
You can specify a domain in the format <DomainName>\<UserID> as part of the user ID. If you do not specify a domain, the log session uses the domain of the CONNX REST Server.
If you are the first user to log on, the
Online CONNX Suite opens the
Managing Users page. The next time your user, or another user logs on, the
Online CONNX Suite opens the home page. The contents of the home page are customized based on your user access levels and the licenses you have activated.
