To enable remote management of the Event Replicator Target Adapter, you must complete the following:

1. The Software AG ERTA Administration Service is installed when the Event Replicator Target Adapter is installed. Ordinarily, the Software AG ERTA Administration Service starts up automatically after it is installed or whenever the machine on which it is installed is started.

2. In the Target Adapter preferences on the Preferences dialog of the Administration tool, specify the remote host name and port number of the Event Replicator Target Adapter you want to manage and use in the Host and Adabas Administration Service Port fields.
