This manual describes the messages of Adabas Audit Data Retrieval.
A message ID consists of three elements:
There are different type codes:
D - Debug |
No user action is required. |
E - Error |
The user should take action now or at a later time. Check the instructions given under "Operator Response". |
I - Information |
No user action is required. |
W - Warning |
The user should investigate why the message was issued and may need to take action. Check the instructions given under "Operator Response". |

All messages are listed without the three-character prefix in BSA Messages and Codes because most messages can occur with the message prefix of different products.
The online version of the documentation includes aliases for each message, which means that you can search for messages with or without the prefix.
Example
You will find the description of message 9550W in BSA Messages and Codes irrespective of whether you search for 9550W, OMS9550W, PMS9550W, SBL9550W etc.
A description of the BQL return codes can be found in "Database codes" in BSA Messages and Codes.
The message text is written in UPPERCASE, BOLD letters.
Certain messages contain portions that can vary, which are indicated by lowercase, italic letters.
Alternate values issued by messages are separated by a vertical bar ( | ).
Routing and description codes for the z/OS consoles and the z/OS system log are specified in the B97LSTxx member in the BETA.PARMLIB using the following parameters:
