This documentation describes the messages and codes produced by Adabas Fastpath. Messages may be either displayed on the operator console or written to a local (DDMSG) file.

Message Format	Describes the possible formats of Adabas Fastpath messages.
AFP* - Adabas Fastpath Messages	Describes the Adabas Fastpath (AFP*) messages.
Nucleus Response Codes	Describes the Adabas nucleus response codes and their associated subcodes. Adabas Fastpath primarily produces subcodes for response code 101. The response code and its subcodes are returned in the rightmost two bytes of the Additions 2 field of the Adabas control block. All Adabas commands resulting in a response code restore all Adabas control block fields except the Response Code field to the contents the fields held at the beginning of command execution.
