This document describes the installation of Adabas Encryption on z/OS systems.

You install Adabas Encryption the same way you install Adabas. All ADARUN parameters are available and all selectable units of Adabas are supported. Adabas Encryption introduces the new ADARUN parameter ENCRYPTION.

To use Adabas Encryption with encrypted database container datasets in a production environment, substantial organizational and configuration work must have been performed in z/OS to set up z/OS Dataset Encryption.
