Adabas Cluster 7.1.1 | About Adabas Cluster | How Does Adabas Cluster Work? | Initial State

Initial State
The typical scenario of a three-node cluster requires ADATCP connections as a prerequisite. The three-node cluster involves a primary node and two secondary nodes. Infrastructural considerations determine performance, hosts, and size of the components. This configuration, controlled by the Adabas Cluster software, is administered from a client application.
The cluster instantiates once the primary node sends an Initial State to the secondary nodes. This Initial State effectively synchronizes the secondary nodes. The Adabas Cluster is now fully operational.
