Each Adabas Manager window is divided into two scrollable parts:
a tree-view on the left side of the screen
detail information (detail-view) on the right side of the screen
You can navigate in the tree-view as you would in any directory tree. When you highlight (click on) an item in the tree, the detailed information about that entry is displayed in detail-view. To expand items under a high-level entry in the tree, click on the plus sign (+) to the left of the high-level entry.
Notes:
Once you have highlighted an item in the tree, context-specific commands are listed in the drop-down menu.
You can personalize your work area by adding views to or removing them from your System Management View.
To personalize your work area:
Right-click on the item in the tree you want to add to the System Management View and select in the drop-down menu.
The item is added to your System Management View.
Click on System Management View at the bottom of the tree-view area. The tree-view will collapse to show only the items you have added to your View.
To remove an item from your View, right-click on it in your System Management View and select Remove from View.
The item is removed from the view.
Note:
To return to the general work area, click on System
Management at the top of the tree-view.
All items in the tree show a
option in their drop-down list.To refresh any item in the tree:
Select the item in the tree for which you want to view information and right-click on it.
Select
on the drop-down menu.The information displayed in the detail-view is updated, i.e., you return to the main overview display of a function.
