Session Monitoring

Adabas Vista controls and manages database access from within a client session. If Adabas Vista Online Services (SYSAVI) is available within the same session, it can be used to monitor the client session parameters and Adabas Vista's internal pools.

Modify Job Parameters

  1. Select service 2 or enter the command 2.2 on a command line.

    Parameter values that may be modified dynamically are highlighted and unprotected.

  2. Modify the parameter values as necessary.

  3. Press PF5 to save the new values.

    Although modified values take effect immediately when you press PF5, they exist only for the current job session. For permanent changes, you must modify (or create) a job parameter entry for the job. Refer to the section Maintain Job Parameters.
