Performance of Adabas Transaction Manager version 7.5 is considerably better than that of previous versions. Performance tests have shown that version 7.5 uses significantly less CPU than versions 1.2 and 7.4 in most cases. Depending on the type of transaction and the configuration of RM databases and ATM daemons, the CPU consumption of the version 7.5 daemon can be less than half that of the version 1.2 daemon and recovery database, and less than 75% of the figure for version 7.4.
