Create a Zip File for My webMethods Server
1. Go to the 9.9_Software AG_directory/MWS/bin/migrate directory and copy the zip-mws.{bat|sh} file to the old_Software AG_directory/MWS/bin/migrate or old_Software AG_directory /MWS/bin directory.
Note: | The directory you see varies depending on which old release you have. If you installed fixes on the old My webMethods Server, the file might already exist. |
2. On the old machine, open a command window or shell, go to the directory that contains the file you just copied, and run the command zip-mws.{bat|sh}. The command creates a zip file named mws.zip in old_Software AG_directory/MWS/migrate-zip directory.
3. Copy the mws.zip file to any directory on the 9.9 machine that hosts My webMethods Server.
Important: | If using FTP to copy, use the binary file transfer mode/type. If you use another mode/type, the Zip file might become corrupted. |
