Executing the Log Purging Command Tool
Use the purge Logs command to invoke the log purging in CentraSite.
The syntax for the command is:
C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd purge Logs [-url <CENTRASITE-URL>] -user <USER-ID>-password <PASSWORD> [-assets <AssetName/Key(s)>] -file <CONFIG-FILE>
The input parameters are:
Parameter
Description
-url
(Optional) The URL of the CentraSite registry. Default value is http://localhost:53307.
-user
The user ID of a registered CentraSite user. For example, a user who has the CentraSite Administrator role.
-password
The password for the registered CentraSite user identified by the parameter -user.
-assets
The name or UUID assigned to the asset and which uniquely identifies it within the registry.
-file
The absolute or relative path to the XML configuration file. If relative, the path should be relative to the location from where the command is executed.
Example:
C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteCommand.cmd purge Logs -url "http://localhost:53305/CentraSite/CentraSite" -user "Administrator" -password "manage" -assets "MyService" -file "config.xml"
The response to this command could be:
Executing the command : purge Logs
Successfully executed the command : purge Logs
Note:  
If the specified key or name of the asset to purge does not match any existing asset in the registry, then no purging is done.
