Deleting an Existing Virtual Asset Type
Use the AssetTypeManager.jar to delete an existing virtual asset type in CentraSite.
The syntax for the command is:
C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteToolbox.cmd AssetTypeManager.jar <CentraSite URL><admin user id><password>delete <virtual type name>
The input parameters are:
Parameter
Description
CentraSite URL
(Optional) The fully qualified URL of the CentraSite registry/repository. Default value is http://localhost:53307.
admin user id
The user ID of a registered CentraSite user who has the CentraSite Administrator role. For example, Administrator.
password
The password for the CentraSite user identified by the parameter -user.
virtual type name
Name of the virtual asset type you want to delete.
Example:
C:\SoftwareAG\CentraSite\utilities>CentraSiteToolbox.cmd AssetTypeManager.jar http://localhost:53305/CentraSite/CentraSite Administrator manage delete MyVirtualRESTService
