Install the Update Manager
When you install products from Software AG Command Central, the Update Manager is automatically installed in managed installations with Software AG Platform Manager.
When you install products using the Software AG Installer, you must install the Update Manager yourself.
Install the
Update Manager on any machine that hosts
Software AG products you want to work with, but install it in a separate run of the installer, in a directory that does not contain any
Software AG products.
Install only one
Update Manager per machine, and use that one
Update Manager to work with all
Software AG installations on the machine.
Use the 2015 April or later
Software AG Installer to install the
Update Manager, and install from the 2015 April or later release. For instructions on using the

Important: | If you have an existing Update Manager that you installed before 2015 April, and you are upgrading to a 2015 April release or later, uninstall the existing Update Manager and follow the instructions above to install the new Update Manager. |
