You can cluster some products in Amazon EC2. You will need to configure a DNS server (see Configuring a DNS Server. The EC2 instances will use the DNS server to resolve their fully qualified domain names (FQDNs, or FQNs) into IP addresses through the Amazon private internal IP address. Then follow the instructions in the appropriate product documentation to configure the cluster.

You cannot cluster Optimize or Process Performance Manager in Amazon EC2.
