1. Create a new design/change-time policy. During this step, you specify the scope of the policy and select the actions that you want it to execute.

2. Optionally refine the scope. During this step you can specify additional criteria to narrow the set of objects to which the policy applies.

3. Configure the policy actions. During this step, you assign values to the input parameters for the individual actions.

4. Activate the policy. During this step, you put the new policy into effect.
