Overview
This chapter explains how to complete an upgrade from Presto 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, 9.9, or 9.10 to Business Analytics 9.12. If you want to upgrade from releases prior to 3.6, contact Software AG Global Consulting Services.
Note: | You cannot upgrade directly from Presto 9.9 or earlier to Business Analytics 9.12. Instead, you must upgrade from Presto 9.9 or earlier to Business Analytics 9.10, and then upgrade from to Business Analytics 9.10 to Business Analytics 9.12. |
Business Analytics stores all of its data, including mashups, mashables, apps and workspaces, in its repository. To upgrade, you will set up the new Business Analytics to use the old repository. If you deployed extensions to features of the old product (for example, if you used scripting in mashups and the scripts are stored in files), you will also copy the extensions to the new Business Analytics installation.
