This directory contains a manifest.v3 file with information about the package, including its status, version information, dependencies on other packages, and the names of its startup and shutdown services.

When a new package is created in Designer, the manifest.v3 file is checked in to the VCS repository along with the package. Thereafter, the VCS Integration feature ignores the manifest.v3. For more information, see About the Manifest File.
