Re-signing a Windows 8/RT App

Use the following procedure after you have uploaded a new valid developer certificate. See also Uploading a Developer Certificate for Windows 8/RT.

To re-sign a Windows 8/RT app

1. Click

and then Application Re-sign.

2. From the Platform drop-down list box, select Windows 8/RT.

3. Specify the following options:

Option	Description
APPX file	Click Browse and then upload the app that you want to resign.
Application ID	Optional. Specify a new application ID if you want to change the application ID of the app.
Certificate	Select the certificate to be used. The drop-down list box provides for selection all Windows 8 and Windows RT certificates which have been uploaded.

4. Click Submit.
