It is recommended that you maintain the same environment for all servers in a cluster, for example, the same packages of services and ACLs that protect services. For information on the server environment variables that you should maintain, refer to Server Environment below.
You can have a variety of Integration Servers in your cluster, for example one server on Windows, one on UNIX, and one on Linux.
