Install Fixes
You can install multiple fixes in an installation at the same time.
Note: | Depending on the number of fixes you select for installation, the fix installation job could take some time to complete. |
You can watch a demo relating to this task in the
Command Central area of the Software AG TECHcommunity website at
http://techcommunity.softwareag.com.
1. If support patches are installed on the products on which you want to install fixes, uninstall the support patches.
2. Go to Environments > ALL to see all instances and installations you are managing from Command Central.
3. Click the Installations tab and then click the target installation.
4. Click the Fixes tab. You will see any fixes that are already installed.
5. Click Check for Updates to see the number of new fixes you can install from each registered repository.
6. Click and click Fixes. 7. Click the fix repository from which to install.
The fix list that appears includes only the latest official fixes. You can list earlier fixes for a product by clicking
and then clicking
Show older fixes. You can hide fixes that are already installed by clicking
and then clicking
Hide installed fixes.
Click the icon in the Readme column for each fix or download the fix readme. If you see
next to the icon, the fix readme describes manual steps that you must perform before or after installing the fix.
Important: | If a fix requires manual pre-installation steps, you must perform those steps before continuing with the instructions in this help or you will experience problems with the product on which you install the fix. |
8. Select the fixes to install, as follows:
a. Select individual fixes.
b. Click and then click Select All. c. If you want Command Central to auto-select the same fixes that have been installed in another installation, click and then click Auto-select same as... and select that installation. 9. Click Finish.
10. If the fix readme listed manual post-installation steps, perform those steps.
Important: | If a fix requires manual post-installation steps, you must perform those steps or you will experience problems with the product on which you install the fix. |
