Creating a New Version for a Set of Assets
You can create a new version for a set of assets.
Note: | The dialog for creating a new version of a set of assets does not contain the fields Namespace and Change Log that are available if you are creating a new version for a single element, as described in Creating a New Version of an
Asset. |
Use the following procedure to create a new version of a set of assets:
To generate a new version of a set of assets
1. In CentraSite Control, use either the Browse or the Search feature in the asset catalog to select a set of assets for which you want to create a new version. If you need information on how to browse or search the asset catalog, see Browsing the Asset Catalog or Searching the Asset Catalog. 2. Mark the checkbox of each asset for which a new version will be created.
3. In the Actions menu, click Add New Version.
4. In the dialog, specify a new version number, in the same way as described previously for creating a new version of an individual asset.
Note: | Keep the following points in mind:  If one or more or the selected assets is not the most recent version of the asset, an error message will appear and no new version will be created for any of the assets. If one or more or the selected assets is a virtual asset, an error message will appear and no new version will be created for any of the assets. |
