Viewing the Report Templates List from Control UI
To view the list of report templates from the CentraSite Control UI, proceed as follows:
To view the report templates list
1. In CentraSite Control, go to Reports > Report Templates.
When you do this, you see a list of all of the currently defined report templates in CentraSite.
For each report template, the list includes various attributes of the report template. The attributes include:
Column
Description
Name
The name assigned to the report template.
Description
Additional comments or descriptive information about the report template.
Organization
The organization to which the report template belongs.
You can adjust the view to show or hide any of the available attributes. To do this, click the Select Columns icon, then mark the checkboxes for any attributes that you want to include in the view, and unmark the checkboxes for attributes that you do not want to display.
Also, the context menu of a particular report template shows the set of action items that are available for working with that template.
Column
Description
Details
Displays the details page of the report template.
Delete
Deletes the report template.
Export
Exports the report template from the registry to an archive file on the file system.
Download Template File
Downloads an existing BIRT report design (.rptdesign) file.
Upload Template File
Uploads the modified BIRT report design (.rptdesign) file.
Add to Favorites
Adds a shortcut to the report template you want to use routinely or otherwise keep close at hand.
Show Template File
Displays the BIRT report design (.rptdesign) file.
