The JavaServer Faces (JSF) standard provides an abstract model used to interact programmatically with a user interface on the server. The Composite Application Framework provides a proprietary client-side model that reflects the JSF server-side model. Use scripting information in the Composite Application Framework to develop portlets using the client-side model, CAF.model.
