Modifying a Portlet Preference
After you create a portlet preference, you can modify its settings. After you do so, you must re-publish the portlet project to the server to apply your changes in the runtime.
To modify a portlet preference
1. Open a portlet application project and double-click the project’s portlet.xml file to open the Portlet Configuration Editor.
2. Expand the portlet node you want to work with and expand Preferences.
3. Click the preference you want to modify.
4. In the Portlet Preference and Portlet Preference (Extended) areas of the editor, modify the preference settings as required.
5. Save your changes.
