Mediator uses Terracotta to cache the virtual services you deploy to it. It also uses Terracotta to cache many of the artifacts associated with the virtual services, such as performance metrics, policies, consumer applications, and registered consumers. When you install Mediator on a cluster of Integration Servers, Terracotta maintains these caches on the Terracotta Server Array.
