The Terracotta cluster tool is a command-line utility that allows you to perform a variety of server and cluster management tasks. For example, you can use the cluster tool to do the following:

Configure, re-configure, or shut down a cluster.

Obtain the status and configuration information of running servers, and take backups of running servers.

Promote a suspended server on startup or failover.
