A Terracotta Server Array (TSA) is a cluster of Terracotta servers. You arrange Terracotta servers into stripes that each include one server in active status and one or more servers in passive status. The active server communicates with your clients, while the passive servers can take over if the active server fails. A TSA can have a single server, a basic two-server tandem for high availability (HA), or a multi-server array for configurable scale, high performance, and deep failover coverage.
