Install the latest product fixes on all new products except the infrastructure components named Common Platform and Security Infrastructure.

Also do not install the latest fixes on the database scripts. You will apply those fixes later in the procedure.

For some products, fixes relating to migration are separate from product fixes. Install the latest migration fixes on all new products, including Common Platform and Security Infrastructure. Fix names for those products typically include the letters OSGI and SIN, respectively.

Install the latest migration framework fix. Fix names for the migration framework follow the convention MIG_release_MigrationFramework_Fixnumber and are listed under Common Library.

Upgrade from 9.9, 9.10, 9.12, or 10.1: If one of the fixes you installed is to the Software AG-provided JDK, and if you made changes to your old JVM files (for example, security changes), make the same changes to your new JVM files. The old files are located in the Software AG_directory/jvm/jvm.bck directory. The new files are located in the Software AG_directory/jvm/jvm directory
