Edit the MySQL Configuration File

1. Open the MySQL configuration file.

2. Remove the values NO_ZERO_IN_DATE and NO_ZERO_DATE from the sql_mode variable.

3. If MySQL is on a Linux system, set the parameter lower_case_table_names=1.
