You modify the default cache settings for My webMethods Server components using the Cache Configuration portlet. The Cache Configuration portlet is not installed by default. For more information about how to install My webMethods Server portlets, see Installing Portlets or Other Deployable Server Components.

* To configure My webMethods Server cache
1. As sysadmin, navigate to Folders > Administrative Folders > Administration Dashboard > Configuration > Cache Configuration.
2. If the cache type you want to configure is not listed on the first page, click Next.
3. In the Cache Max Size field, enter the new maximum cache size for the cache type that you want to configure.
4. Optionally, review the Cache Detailed Report.
The Cache Detailed Report displays detailed information about each cache entry. For more information about cache types and cache attributes, see Cache Types and Cache Attributes.
5. Click Apply.
Cache settings, configured on one instance are automatically propagated across the My webMethods Server cluster.
