The OneData next-generation user interface is available only in Nova mode. The New UI and New UI Preview (for the old Data Manager) are two separate views which provide you an early look at the OneData user experience. While the New UI Preview is limited to a particular conceptual object that you navigate to from the original Data Manager user interface. However, the New UI has broader Data Manager capabilities, allowing you to search for any record, object, or folder in the OneData database, and object, you not only the global search capability, but also offers you a number of Data Manager features.
