Creating a Summary Report
You can generate summary report while viewing an object through the data manager, while other reports can be customized and can be saved.
OneData provides configurable options for creating summary reports. You can customize the following options on the report:
*Report level: Choose the level of detail to generate on the report.
*Summary. Displays data in tabular format. This report only includes columns that are set as Show In Summary or Show In Both in the Show in Report? column level property.
*Summary & First Level. Displays data in row format. This report only includes columns that are set as Show In Summary or Show In Both in the Show in Report? column level property.
*Details. Disabled, as it is not functional.
*Report type. Defines the output format of the report as HTML, PDF, or Excel and specifies the encoding.
*Columns. Defines that data to include in the report and the order in which to display it. If no columns are selected, all columns are included in the report. The setting of the Show in Report? property in the column definition determines whether the column is selectable for the report. See Reporting Permissions for more information.
*Delivery options. Defines whether OneData mails the report if Mail Report is selected.
Only objects defined to display in default mode provide the multi-select column option for summary reports.
