Logically Deleting Records
You can delete a single record or multiple records. When you select the records to delete from the Record Results screen, they are logically deleted. Logically deleted records still exist in the database but are flagged to not display in OneData.
Note: You must have the required security privileges to delete records.
* To logically delete a record
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Manage > Manage Data.
2. Navigate to the object that you want to edit and select it.
3. Click the Values tab to display the records associated with the object.
4. Delete a single or multiple records:
*To delete a single record, click the Delete icon corresponding to the relevant record.
*To delete multiple records, select the check boxes corresponding to the records and click Delete > Delete Record.
Note: If you select the parent record, OneData returns an error. You must delete child records before parent records unless you are deleting the entire hierarchy using Delete > Hierarchy.
OneData marks the selected record or records as hidden in the record results, but retains them in the database.
