Data Manager Operations
To view the data manager operations at the object level, left click on the top level object name in the tree followed by a right click. This displays the context menu with following options:
Option
Description
Personalization
Displays personalization menu with options as explained in Personalizing OneData .
Definition
Displays definition window with options as explained in Advanced Object Properties.
Edit Definition
Navigates to the Definition tab of specific object selected.
Workflow Rule Model
Displays associated workflow rule model.
Print Report
Allows to print the report in the following formats:
*Hierarchical Format— Displays hierarchy of records. Each node is described by its description column and primary key. If multiple description columns exist, they are pipe (|)separated.
*Flat Format—Displays records with columns primary key, pipe (|) separated description columns, level and path to trace up to the parent (delimiter in the path is $$$).
*Custom Flat Format— Prompts the user to select additional options for the report: primary key, description columns, other columns, level, full node path. The report is generated in the specified format.
Note: If there are CLOB, BLOB, or multi-select columns in the entity, they are not displayed in the “other columns” list.
Limitation: If any relationships are logically deleted (as a result of delete hierarchy operation), then the deleted nodes display as the root node entry in the report even though there are other valid relationships for this node.
Insert
Displays window to input single record into the object.
Insert Multiple
Displays window to input multiple records into the object.
Restore Record(s)
Displays deleted records and provide options to restore selected record(s), with their hierarchy if required.
Purge Record(s)
Displays deleted records and provide options to purge selected record(s), with their hierarchy if required.
Comparison Report
Allows viewing and saving comparison reports on records associated with the NR object. For more information, see Creating Reports.
Interchange Mapping
Displays the window to create a new Interchange Mapping profile for this object. If interchange mapping profiles exist for this object, the profile names will be listed as Mapping Profile > Profile Name. Clicking the profile name displays window to execute the selected interchange mapping.
For more information on interchange mapping, see Implementing webMethods OneData .
To view node level data manager options, left click on a node followed by right click. The following options are available:
Option
Description
Audit Trail
Displays Data Audit window for the selected node.
Data Hierarchy
Displays Data Hierarchy of the selected node for data analysis.
Note: This option is not available in Flex mode.
Copy Record
Allows copying of selected record as per below example.
Consider Hierarchy A B C. Copy C and create D. Now D will appear as child of B.
Delete Record(s)
Enables deletion of selected node alone, or along with its hierarchy.
Search and Replace

*Primary key
*Description columns
