Setting Notification for Approvers
You can configure workflow to send emails to approvers when they have an item pending for approval. If you enable notification, then all the approvers will be notified if an item is rejected or re-triggered (rejected by an approver and creator re-triggers the item).
The notifications can be consolidated instead of sending emails for every item pending approval. This is configured via the system property Enable Consolidated Notification. Also, the level of information available in the workflow notifications can be restricted with the system property, Workflow email notification format. Define these properties on the Menu toolbar in Administer > System > System Properties. For more information on these system properties, see Administering webMethods OneData.
* To enable notification to approvers
1. On the Menu toolbar, click Define > Objects and navigate to the required object.
2. Click the object name and select the check box for Enable Workflow E-mail.
3. Click Save.
